Shipping and Return Policies


General Return Terms

All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

To qualify for a return, you must:

  1. Initiate your return within 3 days of receiving your item(s).
  2. Ensure the return package is postmarked within 4 days of receiving your item(s).
  3. Return the item unaltered, unworn, undamaged, odor-free, and free of styling products.
  4. Ensure the original tag is still attached.
  5. Include all original packaging and accessories.

Items NOT eligible for returns:

  • “Design Your Own Wig” bespoke/custom human hair wigs
  • Ready-to-wear pieces that have been customized
  • Preorder pieces that have been customized

Return Shipping:

  • You may use any courier of your choice.
  • Items must be returned in their original box.
  • Buyer is responsible for all return shipping fees.

90-Day Defective Item Policy (All Products)

We stand behind the quality of our products.
Once in a great while, a manufacturing issue may occur.

If you believe your item is defective, please contact us at hello@collectionsbykimberly.com within 90 days of purchase.

  • We will work with the manufacturer to replace the item at no cost to you.
  • Items reported after 90 days cannot be replaced.
  • We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Human Hair Pieces

Shipping

  • Ready-to-wear: Ships in 2–5 business days.
  • Preorders:
    • Medium & light density: 4–6 weeks
    • 110% Light Density All-Hand-Tied: 10–12 weeks
  • Custom Orders:
    • Medium & light density: 6–8 weeks
    • 110% Light Density All-Hand-Tied: 10–14 weeks

Shipping Details & Insurance:

  • A tracking number will be sent once the shipping label is created.
  • All orders ship via UPS insured.
  • Buyers are responsible for any customs, duties, or import fees.
  • If a package is lost, the buyer must contact the carrier selected at checkout.
  • Risk of loss transfers to the buyer once the order is shipped.

Synthetic Wigs

Shipping

  • FREE USPS Priority Mail shipping within the USA.
  • Processing time: 7–14 days, depending on availability.
  • Shipping to HI, AK, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands: 10–12 business days.
  • Tracking information will be emailed once shipped.

Shipping Delays

Shipping times may be affected by:

  • Holidays
  • Inclement weather
  • Carrier delays
  • Natural disasters

Note: Many holidays do not count as business days.


Returns & Refunds (Synthetic Wigs)

To qualify for a return, the wig must be:

  • Unaltered
  • Unworn
  • Undamaged
  • Free of odors and styling products
  • Returned with the original tag attached
